- Moving
is a frantic and stressful time. My job is to relieve you of
that stress take care of your details so you and your realtor
can concentrate on your home sale. As a Senior Project Manager
in the Corporate world for many years first with The Royal Bank
of Canada and then The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation I have
a solid grounding on what to do and when. And I use my aesthetic
sense, people skills and tough work ethic to combine all into
a solid service to help you find a mover, acquire and have delivered
packing materials, assist in the packing and help get you ready
to go when the time comes.
- PODS:
Often you need to arrange things to be removed fomr your
home for temporary storage. There are some good companies out
there. My favorite to date is PODS - Portables on Demand. I
can coordinate the POD and the crew to pack it for you. PODS

- Storage:
You may need to move items to long term storage. I can coordinate
movers of large numbers of items or just a few as well as suggest
locations in your area.

Consult
with clients on behalf of residence to determine needs.
Guide family de-cluttering of the home and insure all family
members are in the loop. Be a solid contact and back-up. Ensure
nothing is lost.
Help pack, (bring all materials needed; boxes tape, wrapping
etc.)
Help co-ordinate moves if need be.
Help determine which items the family member wishes to move.
Catalogue the items by name and measurements.
Measure new residential suite spaces and offer arrangements
to suit.
We will help arrange for excess items to be dispersed; sold,
donated.
Help after the move to arrange items, unpack, remove packing
materials etc.

Careful,
sympathetic de-stressing. And it's essential that no oject is lost,
given away, donated etc. without family participation and approval.
Objects and possessions are emotion laden and have many histories
only family can understand. I never tell anyone they 'have to' get
rid of something. I listen and offer thoughts. I keep everyone on
board and updatd at each stage.
